The Yamaha YAS-480 is an Eb alto saxophone based on the successful 475 series. An improvement to the low HC# connection enables better response of the low notes, as well as a permanent, more precise setting. The newly developed octave mechanism makes it possible to play the Yamaha YAS-480 with the included S-bow as well as with those of saxophones from the Custom-Z and EX series. The built-in rocker for the left hand enables the key function for the left little finger. A hand-crafted engraving gives this alto saxophone a unique look. The high tonal flexibility, the robust sound, and the exemplary intonation make the Yamaha YAS-480 a great instrument for both beginners and advanced players.
